2010 Hyundai Santa Fe Review OverviewThe 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe is a mid-size crossover sport utility vehicle that can accommodate five to seven passengers. It is offered in three trim levels - base GLS, mid-level SE, and the top grade Limited. It provides state-of-art standard safety equipment and a well-designed interior. It includes standard iPod and USB inputs and upgraded stereos. The SE and Limited versions have received a standard towing prep package and roof rack crossrails.Power and performanceTwo V6 engine types are available on the 2010 Santa Fe: 242-horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine that comes with a five-speed automatic transmission (SE and Limited trims) and 185-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 engine mated to a standard five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic shifter (GLS trim). All 2010 Santa Fe models can be equipped with either a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configuration. Maximum towing capacity of the Santa Fe is 3,500 pounds.Body and stylingThe 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe sports a variety of standard interior and exterior amenities such as full power accessories; alloy wheels (16-inch on GLS, 18-inch on SE and Limited); cruise control; keyless entry; and iPod/USB auxiliary inputs. The SE and Limited feature a standard towing preparation package. The GLS has a standard 120-watt AM/FM/XM Satellite Radio and six-speaker CD/MP3 audio system, while the Limited gets an upgraded 605-watt Infinity Logic 7 CD changer system with 10 speakers. Some of the Limited?s additional standard features are optional on other trim levels. The available third-row seat splits 50/50 and folds flat to provide more cargo volume. It can accommodate up to seven passengers.
