Overview

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is all-new for 2010. The 2010 Genesis offers rear-wheel driving dynamics as well as a good amount of speed. The 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes in six trim levels base 2.0T, 2.0T Premium, 2.0T Track, 3.8, 3.8 Grand Touring, and 3.8 Track.

Power and performance

The 2.0T, 2.0T Premium, and 2.0T Track trim levels are equipped with a 210-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on all Genesis Coupe models. The 3.8, 3.8 Grand Touring, and 3.8 Track models are powered by a 306-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 engine. Estimated EPA of the 2010 Genesis 2.0 models is 21/30 mpg (city/highway) and that of the 3.8 trim levels is 17/26 mpg (city/highway).

Body and styling

The 2010 Genesis Coupe is loaded with an abundance of standard and optional features. The base 2.0T model gets 18-inch alloy wheels; sport-tuned suspension with strut brace; trip computer; keyless entry system; power windows, door locks, and mirrors; cruise control; leather-wrapped steering wheel/shift knob; Bluetooth connectivity; auto light control; air conditioning; USB/iPod/Aux jack connectivity; and AM/FM/XM/CD Player. The 2.0T Premium adds sunroof; Proximity key entry system with push button start; and electrochromic mirror with HomeLink and compass. The 2.0T Track includes 19-inch alloy wheels; fog lights; rear spoiler; limited slip differential; HID headlights; power driver seat; and aero wiper blades. Additional features on the 3.8 model include fully automatic temperature control; chrome front fascia accents; premium door sill plates; and black leather seats. The 3.8 Grand Touring gains a back-up warning system; heated front seats; brown leather seats; HID xenon headlights; heated mirrors with outside turn indicator; and Infinity premium audio with 10-speakers, AM/FM/XM/MP3/CD Changer. The top-of-the-line 3.8 Track trim gets similar amenities as the Grand Touring and adds a Brembo braking system.

Safety Features
